NFT stands for "non-fungible-token," and can technically contain anything digital, including drawings, animated GIFs, songs, or items in video games. These are assets. Think about the stuff you own: your favorite chair, your phone, your laptop, etc. All of these items could potentially be sold on eBay for someone else to buy. Except, we're making them into digital memorabilia or non-fungible tokens. People have had non-fungible digital assets since the dawn of the internet. Domain names, event tickets, in-game items, even handles on social media like Twitter or Instagram are all examples of non-fungible digital assets.
